that is exactly what mc is worried about, he wants the regressor to choose him over anyone else in the world and a girl like that poses a major threat to his position as the one who he would protect first, hence why he is upset

my assumption is that it prevented the remaining gas fumes from exiting the exhaust pipe because used to in older engines (and some newer ones) there was a large gap that gas fumes would be exiting as you are filling it up with other fumes, or maybe something along the lines of a catalytic converter, which like before can take the unused exhaust fumes and put it to use or maybe it helps with funneling more pressure into the chamber and faster release of said pressure so that it does not need to fight it anymore, also it was not a monopoly that vanished it was a small company making this product, however a monopoly was what purchased them and eventually recovered the piece, i doubt such tech would be beneficial with modern day engine efficiency but for the time if they had put it on the market then fuel would be a lot cheaper and purchased less, maybe it was a gas company that made sure the part was not known ? because it seems odd for a car company to destroy a competitive edge like that

If we start mass harvesting resources from space, monopolies will disappear and competition for lower prices will kick in. The war over fossil fuels would end with the widespread adoption of fusion power and fully developed solid-state batteries that could power everything for long periods, much like fuel does now, so I’d say the future looks bright :D. On a related note about tech not available to the public, my great-grandfather was once asked to test a new product designed to make cars more efficient, and he agreed. His car could travel three times farther before needing a refill, and they told him he could keep it. Later, a big car company bought the product and tried everything to get the part back, but he refused to give it up. He drove the car well past its lifespan, then sold it back to them for much more than the original price when it was brand new, quite a waste to not sell it to somebody who would have put the tech to good use rather than just destroy it and hide all evidence of it ever existing

As long as responses keep coming, so will mine—though feel free to stop at any time or even reply a month later if you want :) Humanity never truly needed to advance technologically; it happened as a side effect of social dynamics. The only real necessity is survival—everything else is just a side quest. As resources grow scarcer with more people needing them, their costs rise, making it harder to provide for new generations. That may change once we start harvesting resources from space and the process becomes cheaper, potentially causing the population to rise rapidly. I also imagine that jobs will soon be fully automated, with people paid simply for existing, leaving them with nothing but time for reproduction and expansion.

deep down the rates have not changed, but on the surface for a while there they had to go into hiding to continue said practices and many never bothered with it so the rates did indeed change even if only skin deep, and it was a working strategy that increased the growth rate of the population, now however it is obsolete since the amount of land the population can cover is beginning to shrink and the need to force expansion is shrinking along with that, humans are very adaptable when it comes to mass usage of a strategy, for instance life used to be as simple as repeating whatever worked for your parents and that is what a culture is

she was not actually his soulmate, she was just called that because she is also weak manipulator, she would most likely stab him in the back if it improved her reputation in even the slightest bit

very true! and i think that it is honestly hilarious how the bodies response to stress is to throw the gay at the problem XD, but there is a reason rare diseases are rare, children for the longest time had a hard time barely surviving past birth and so a genetic disease killing them was just one of the reasons that was in a large pile of other reasons so it was harder to sort through, but now that the environment is not what kills them we have to mostly just face those genetic diseases which the body could not properly sort through due to the ten thousand other things also knocking on the door, now genetic disorder is helped through medicine so there will not be a natural filtering process in the genetics anymore, but thing is recently a child with a rare liver disease was cured genetically so that filtering process has no need to exist anymore, that may sound a bit off topic but now we compare it to the gay, used to large families would suffer from a lack of food, and so having a child that would never bear children was helpful to feed those who would, kinda like ants, most ants never have children as they are just supporters to that one which will and so they succeed, in the modern environment people no longer live in familial groups like tribes and have plenty of food and room to grow, and so it became a game of who could spread their genetics to the world the fastest, if it had stayed that way long enough gays who do not help with that spread would slowly become a burden to the rate of spread since if you have 3 kids and 2 of them are gay then you gave up some ground in the world, this may be how hate towards them developed since your genes spread faster if none of your sons are gay and so the haters multiplied far faster than those who accepted it thus creating the modern world, but we are reaching the end of that cycle and nearing the point where men will be able to bear children and so the gays will soon forever be cemented as a part of humanity.

i think it is hilarious how people suppress the gay because if they just let them run rampant all this time then being gay will be less and less common by genetic design, but if you suppress them and force them to be straight then it will keep the gay populace alive, so the best move for anyone who hates the gay to do is literally just to support them XDD now however we are nearing the age of M-Preg so it is too late for them to regret their actions, before M-Preg becomes possible there will be lesbians giving birth which is already possible just not perfected nor ready for public use as it currently causes some genetic issues in the child, but just wait a decade or so for them to perfect it... :> the age of anything is nearly upon us and i am rather excited to see what all gets done

my first father (out of the three sets of parents i have had) drank aswell, and my third mother (the third set) had her skull fractured when a drunk driver T-Boned her car, i sincerely hope that drank entirely fades out of society one day, if you need a bottle in order to have proper recreation with your friends then you must be a pretty lame/boring person

ah, i see now, my mother was also one who never said no but i never pushed that for fear that she one day would, and i never had any flaws originally but i remember some people when i was younger comparing themselves to me and they became depressed which made me sad and so i went around finding flaws that i liked and adopted them into my behavior, i also did not want to stand out too much on anything because standing out means higher expectations, expectations mean that if you did something that would be incredibly hard for literally anyone else then it is still not good enough to impress those who you want to impress, and that was also when i learned to never tell people about the projects i am working on or about how far into said projects i am because if i so decide to drop it then nobody feels that i was lying to them about my capabilities or anything, it very much so felt that i grew up with knives to my back of the people waiting for me to fail, i first begun to code back when i was seven and was actually able to make stuff by 10 and i kept suffering from burnout because i did not take the weekends off which majorly impacted everything else in my life, it just felt lazy to do so, it was not till i was already 13 that i realized that taking days off actually increased my coding skills when i was working by a lot, and i actually lost hair from the stress during that period of my life, i did not even listen to music till i was 16 which was incredibly fun to discover because before that i would listen to biology videos such as the ones by david woodruff, i think it is fun that these improvements to my life kept coming every three years, my dream though has never been to become a coder though that is a nice side quest, it was to be a biologist but i refused to work for others since they can steal your work and sell them to the military, also another thing that i think is why my life played out the way it did is that i do not have emotions naturally, i had to design my own based on how others act, when others were expressing themselves i learnt to aswell, when others are happy i learnt why and adopted said behaviors towards similar situations, i was only accused once but i think said person said such things because they were mourning rather than actually thinking so of me, though i am not quite sure why because i sat in a corner at the funeral and cried and continued to be sad for weeks afterwards or to droop at the mentioned of their name :/ apologies that this is so long but recollecting is incredibly fun, i also had multiple parents but if i was to get into them i would be here for ages longer than i already have XD
