The main point is he was just like the kid in the drama he played - maybe a bit less aggressive. He tried to help her when he was well off but was embarrassed to be around a poor lifestyle. The mom also never wanted to take advantage of her son. Lastly he ignored her until her dying breath chasing after money. 2) the grade of the unique monsters may be higher than regular monsters ie goblin shaman may cost more than an orc but less than orc shaman
