Man, I love Kyoichiro. Such a simple, yet excellently handled, character.

I'm not sure what to feel, I know Kyoichiro is going to help Taiyo, but I'm scared of the price he'll face.

I understand that plot-wise it makes sense for Taiyo to be fighting alone. But the excuse used is that the inside of the ship is affected by Dream, however, Aradne's web is impervious to dream so Kyoichiro should be able to walk in as well.

The way I would break down from being told by my charge that they want to protect me.

First, loving that we are being shown that Kyoichiro too has the potential to unleash a full bloom, he took his phase 1 bloom that is meant to destroy everything surrounding him, and has now tamed it to the point that it can instead protect those he holds dear. How wonderful.

Second, I'm glad he was the one with Hifumi. As a pair of oddballs, there is no better uncle/aunt to understand Hifumi's outburst and help her calm down.
