love this series and hate this arc's structure, we are being kept in the dark about ass pulls on both sides but unlike the arc vs toji there isn't any thematic sequence tying it together. from a tournament to army invasion to this this set of fights it feels like we haven't finished or started anything but the manga is about to be over presumably. maybe if we didn't kill off everyone with ties to the cast! eh? maybe then we could have a more interrelated narrative
