See, I think the reason is because Kuroki Gensei a Purist in the Martial Arts world. He's not a man you can hire and he doesn't have any stakes involved with the Worm. If he were to be involved it would only because he was there or his friend who requested him to participate in the 1st Tourney was in danger.

I wasn't expecting that outcome. That actually hurts his friends way more than dying for their beliefs because he was their reason for the journey! 

Interestingly I'd be fine if it wasn't Utso to receive a weapon but Nea. However if Utso was offered something I'd like it if it were either a Shield or Tonfa's. (For the sake of comedy it'd be funny if he was given a weapon that normally couldn't be wielded by one man lol)

Lulus changing sides is great but the lingering fear of her Dogura Instincts awakening one day feels like unavoidable foreshadowing.

This guy is one of the few S-Ranks. Like the guy targeting the Yozakura’s is the Last Boss but I’m confident it’ll take the entire family to beat him.

So far it feels like a Harry Potter story if Harry was raised as a mercenary before becoming a student. I like Almark's disposition! 

Considering the threat the Worm already is and how the seemingly slipped through security they should consider this a luxury they didn't slaughter all the executives on the spot. From a business perspective their ultimatum is worth more than the time spent hunting Worms but..we all know everyone has their loyalties!

Lol they had a whole Manzai Comedy routine and Takaba got Reversed Uno'd! (He was made to play the Straight Man) Kenjaku is really well-rounded to even adapt to comedy routines.
