The depth of Takeba’s technique depends on his own confidence as a comedian which is why he was losing in the beginning.
Kenjaku had been setting up skits better than Takeba which turned his own technique against him but in this chapter they’ve been doing something like chain skits.

Naofumi's choice in slaves as of recent is for the sake of recovering the Beastkin children of Raphtalia's Village and because the Slave Contract System allows for easier EXP Growth. Basically he's giving them a place to live while giving the strength to defend themselves. Rishia(17yrs) the former party member of The Bow Hero Itsuki also became his slave in order to help her gain exp and confidence because of usually being shy & clumsy.

Well this is a very dire situation. Nogi's trying to set the table but he doesn't have any cards to play! See, I think the reason is because Kuroki Gensei a Purist in the Martial Arts world. He's not a man you can hire and he doesn't have any stakes involved with the Worm. If he were to be involved it would only because he was there or his friend who requested him to participate in the 1st Tourney was in danger.

Interestingly I'd be fine if it wasn't Utso to receive a weapon but Nea. However if Utso was offered something I'd like it if it were either a Shield or Tonfa's. (For the sake of comedy it'd be funny if he was given a weapon that normally couldn't be wielded by one man lol)
