but the crazy thing is it was supposed to be a back story to the game and not a playable part. they explained that part a couple chapters ago. but watching the devs freak out is awesome. i hope we get some side stories soon.

it happens that way because of the mc 's skills like narcolepsy which would be the state that Thanatos' base form or somethin to that effect. it basically makes them mistake him for having divinity, which in turn messes with the game AI causing all weird turnarounds in situations where he should be killed or at least not able to overcome the obstacles. And we have to remember he only was on the game to sleep, so he is practically winging it and figuring out the story as he is kind of invested now.

i can agree but i do appreciate the order to the story telling. at least its going back and filling in the missing details as to who and what happened behind the scenes.
