Thus how you sense and perceive the world and how you imagine can be constrained by other people.
Society or the different groups of people shapes your view of the world too.
If all people "saw" Big Brother die to the Crack Sovereign throught their eyes, then what can do someone to change their imagination or they view? They perceived it. Now is their Truth and for them your Lie. You can see that Big Brother is not death. But that is your Truth and for them their Lie.
There is a bandage on the "Truth" and most people can´t see throught it.
The only one that can see the "Truth" of Big Brother and the "Abyss" is the "Abyss one an only hope".

I will try to explain by giving you an explanation through other means to see if it conveys better what this chapter can be about or i perceive about.
Sorry if it i may result in a bit of a longer explanation as i'm dumb, don´t know if i can summarize it properly and english is not my native language.
Basically i'm going to try to explain through the experience and knowledge of other people in the matter of imagination and objects.
So will try to use what i read from the book or the essay "L'Imagination" by Jean Paul Sartre.

Your view of the world is shaped by how you sense it. By how your experience it and perceive it.
This stored data in your brain shapes your imagination. Even when your imagination should be free and unrestrained as it not bound to reality.
The problem if i tell you an objetct, it may be already limited by how your senses had felt it before, how you have experienced interacting with it and thus how you perceive it.
The image of the object that you make through your imagination may be constrained throught this and may be your own way of building "the world".
This objects are built in your innerself and are on your own conscience.
These objetcts in your imagination don´t manifest in the real world, unless you make them have shape in something that has a reminiscense or looks like it in the real world. It can be through drawing, a photo and object that looks like it, through a poem or a writting that describes it better, but that is already out of your inner consciousnes, is a material manifestation in the outher world.
This is like when they deploy their sanctums or deploy their worlds. That can depend on each clothing or experience they had in life. Ouroboros.

Do you really think a MC will just go and die?
Unless there is a specific plot or that makes someone else the MC or the Author wants to end a series i doubt so
