You all saying "narrator" like it's not Gege himself, writing it, and then saying it's the "narrator coping". Face facts, Gege is a fucking hack. They're lazy with their writing, needing to rely on exposition to get their story across, he writes characters only to go back on how they're written, he's probably written himself into a corner and is struggling to find a way out. I'll bet, right now, the ending to this series is going to be shit, with a lot of you all feeling disappointed.
