Yeah, sometimes it's quite detrimental. The worst is in two situations. The first is when the art is absurdly good but the story is absolute dogshit. The second is when the story is excellent but the art fails to get over a bar most series trip over. Both situations fkin suck. As for that one, the story is decent but the art varies wildly. Items, outfits, and poses are generally good, but everything else fails to pass the bar. It's not complete trash, it's just to the point where anyone trained in the field will feel a degree of pain. At least for me, the degree of either rushed deadlines or artist laziness visible in the art is painful. Be it a pair of eyes where they've been pasted flat onto a head that's turned slighy, or a thigh thinner than what their bicep should be given the rest of their proportions, shit like this hurts.

Either way it was shit enough for me to drop it.
