Given that, from what I remember of the novel, this plotline is entirely new, yeah I agree.

Let's just say this entire plotlinewas added from what I remember.

It's not dogshit, just the exposition is almost entirely changed into something that flows far better.

Having read the novel, its problem is rhat it's constantly suffering from a severe identity crisis as horror, action, and mystery. Still a very good book once ya get absorbed in it.

The thing is, the update speed is probably due to the quality being so absurdly high. Even reusing the same art in multiple frames only saves an hour, in all likelihood.
