Sometimes I think people just hate reading stories.

Drama exists in all facets of life. It's not weird to have it here. what's important is HOW they deal with that drama.

I wish I could say all those are good but there are very few Manhua or their preceding novels I've found likable. Usually they're over-bloated and focus far too much on silly bs and endless tropes to develop the character or the world, or they are overly flowery in their language or world-building.

That being said, stuff like Lord of the Mysteries is an example of when they can do it SO right. It just depends on how caught up they get with making their characters giant douche bags honestly xD

This author is a moron. arcs like this only serve to make me skip until either it's done, or it's not and I let the story pile up. and if it laaasts too long, I'll just black list this stupid manga xD

I don't get why people worry so much about power scaling. It's such a fun series with great art, awesome characters... I just feel like people waste their time so much worrying about how it all "scales".

MEAAAAAANWHILE, Your average story will rush through this shit in half a chapter and create zero tension, zero drama, zero purpose for the story.

I'm so sick of this shit. Do I enjoy long ass arcs? not all the time. But I also love the character development and world building. It generally helps IMMENSELY in creating a satisfying and immersive story.
