Too much intelligence can limit one's progress too, one needs a careful balance of all stats.

There are countless geniuses and "smart" people in our world that don't bother to workout or build up muscle mass or even bother to stay fit.

And yes, there are countless fit and athletic people who are "smart" too. People have to raise their stats equally and diligently. Raising only one stat first could be detrimental to the rest of your stats.

In which case I agree that it's stupid that so many characters raise only one stat and disregard their "intelligence" xD

I mean if you think about it, if they were smart, the story would have progressed a lot faster... and we'd see a lot of manhwas end faster. Leaving authors with no work to do, and no way to make a living.

In a way we have to blame the publishers for forcing authors to write BS and make stupid characters make stupid decisions just to increase the number of chapters, delay the final chapter, give them enough time to come up with their next title... etc.

While his body did learn the hard way on mastering his martial arts... his body does know how to utilize the martial arts.. he really didn't need intelligence stats for muscle memory and instinct.

If intelligence was required for him to properly explain his martial arts to another party so that they don't have to struggle through it with intenseive physical training... then that would have been his only real requirement for it.

There are two types of people in any world. Those who learn best from second hand experiences, and those who learn best by experiencing it themselves.

Mages that require int or wis stats, usually fall into those who learn from others and from books.

Most physical-type fighters don't usually read books or require writing their techniques down. While basic education and literacy did improve many armies over history, it didn't make any one individual a better fighter.

Intelligence and wisdom can be a double edged sword. If utilized properly you could grow stronger, but at the same time it could also become deadweight for you. The more intelligent and wise you are, the more cautious you become, the less reckless you become. That means less risk-taking, and if risks are required for achievements, that means more missed opportunities.

For the MC, it was fortunate for him to not invest into intelligence or wisdom early on, since the struggle to become stronger was a much-needed component for character development.

If all MCs were smart and wise, there'd be less things to laugh about in a plot, there'd be less fun. Tons of plot can be skipped, and the MCs will be able to make leaps and bounds, and stories will end earlier.

That's probably also why many authors don't let their characters invest into intelligence too.

Intelligent characters require more story writing, more intelligent plot writing from the author's part. Dumb characters don't require such intensive writing.

I see you also didn't put enough points into INT as well.

"thought" -> "think"
or "have thought"

Every reader has different expectations and standards... Those who think this is a filler chaper, just have extremely high standards and expectations, and are likely the types that feel disappointed quickly if their needs aren't met.

I have no idea what you meant by "inherent the kingship"
you didn't possibly mean to say "inherit" did you? those two words are very different....

inherent /ĭn-hîr′ənt, -hĕr′-/
adjective
1. Existing as an essential constituent or characteristic; intrinsic.
"the dangers inherent in the surgery; the inherent instability of financial markets."
2. Permanently existing in something; inseparably attached or connected; naturally pertaining to; innate; inalienable.
"polarity is an inherent quality of the magnet; the inherent right of men to life, liberty, and protection."
Similar: innateinalienable
3. Naturally a part or consequence of something.

I have no idea why fluency in English equals reading speed.

Speed reading exists even for those who aren't fluent....

Maybe Reba Studio? Reba is known as one of the top 3 webtoon artists in Korea, after all.

Too bad, he only draws adult webtoons...

It wouldn't make any sense for an artist not to improve their skills.

Look at One Piece, the artist never changed, but the art got better over time.
Look at Naruto, the artist never changed, but the art got better over time.

They keep polishing their skills.
