It's the least serious of the serious operation-needing health issues, so no.
It's only a serious problems if it's not spotted in time and it bursts, but good luck being in such pain and NOT spotting it in time.

It's slightly better then the date arc where we had to read like 2 chapters worth of 30 second in-universe internal monologue.

This is a flashback TO COVER THE AUTHOR'S ASS BECAUSE HE DIDN"T FOLLOW HIS OWN STORY'S LOGIC, BY POST-MORTEMOUSLY MAKING IT MAKE SENSE.
It's trash.
There's absolutely no reason why this couldn't have simply been part of the school chapters. And regardless of any of that, AGAIN, it MAKES 0 SENSE REGARDING 'STEALING KNOWLEDGE'. It makes perfect sense regarding manipulation, but i'm not talking about that, I"M TALKING ABOUT HOW SHE'S LITERALLY, IN STORY MANIPULATING [HERSELF] INTO KNOWING NEW STUFF, AND ISN"T EVEN PRESENTED TO KNOW ANYTHING, AS SHE'S LITERALLY JUST [USING THE MAGIC, SURPRISED AT IT'S CAPABILITIES EVEN]. Her behavior when using Shirone's magic isn't that of someone who 'stole knowledge'. It's that of someone who straight up stole an ability.

Shonen battle anime/manga brain unironically.
No. What made this manga special/different was that it's magic was scientific. You keep comparing to typical Shonen shit, which NOBODY HERE except YOU came to this manga for.
I don't give a shit how many comparisons you make to the most typical battle mangas/anime known to men, because I"M NOT READING THEM, AND WE AREN"T DISGUSSING THEM. We're disgussing a very specific manga, to which 90% of the people who were 'hooked' by it through it's scientific/logic based magic, and the intrigue of it and how the MC was discovering it. NOT BY BATTLES, OR AURA FARMING.
me:
>So the author established in this story that it's magic is semi-scientific and follows logic, and the more you understand the science of something the more magic related to that something you can use

I even went and checked your profile and, exactly as i expected 99% of your comments on the first 5 pages have been exclusively on battle mangas. It's ok. You enjoy battle manga. But you should know that other people don't. And on occasion a story that's an intersection of genres is written. This is one such story. In this story half of the intersection is getting betrayed/mistreated. Understand this.

"And here again you are assuming that the author said that science in that world can explain anything Wrong "

You don't steal knowledge by gaslighting yourself or your oponent, you do so by LEARNING. Did Shirome TALK TO HER ABOUT THE PRINCIPELS AROUND LIGHT MAGIC ? NO ? THEN SHE COULDN"T HAVE 'STOLEN' THAT KNOWLEDGE.

I don't fucking know. I don't read everything.
If it's done as badly as in this story then yes.

Needing to know the science of photons and other elements is a prerequisite to use light related magic, yet somehow 'gaslighting' can be a substitute. This is as obviously logically inconsistent as it can be.

I'm not 'assuming' that's literally what the author established in the first 20 or so chapters.
"You talk as if no one except shirone can use his magic which it's false" no, the fact you think that is exactly how i said in a different comment that..... nah, i'll just flat out say it: you're a midwit.
The story established that ANYONE can use ANY magic SO LONG as they KNOW THE SCIENCE OF IT, and are sufficiently cognoscente of the world around them though the spirit zone.
Marcia NEVER learned the science relating to this magic, so by default she SHOULDN"T be able to use it, regardless if her spirit zone is adequate or not. Beyond that, YES, it HAS been established that there's magic only Shirone can use, BECAUSE ONLY HE, SO FAR HAS A [INFINITE-SIZED SPIRIT ZONE] (that woman thing they're searching for doesn't count, she's still a mystery, and she's the exception that proves the rule, if anything.)
"but even in science there phenomenon that can't be explained." if anyone needed the proof of you being a midwit, is this statement.
No. In science, EVERYTHING can be explained, that's THE WHOLE POINT OF SCIENCE. There is no such thing as 'cant be explained'. There's only 'we don't know/didn't find the explanation yet.
And beyond that, if what you said was correct (it isn't) something not being explainable, in a world where to use magic you need to be able to explain it, means you CANNOT USE THAT MAGIC.

I don't follow that, but from what i know of it, it's so ridiculous that it looped back and turned it into an art.
Tho yes, i still would consider that trash that i wouldn't touch.

Lying somehow working in a word who's magic is literally scientific, and thus literally dependent on *THE TRUTH*

This isn't a case of 'understanding'.
The problem is exactly that everyone IS understanding BUT the story is NOT logically consistent.
YOU, however fail to notice it's objectively obvious inconsistency so i'd use words to describe what i think you are, but I'm afraid if they may be against the sites TOS so i'll refrain from saying them but this lengthy monologue makes it obvious what i think regardless.

"a part of your omniscience is integrated in her own"
No....
Just no...
We literally observed that this isn't what happened. She doesn't know the mechanics behind light related magic, never learned them, never thought about them, and literally doesn't have his spirit zone, which are all things that are established to be REQUIERED to use magic.
This word isn't the standard fantasy where magic is just magic, and the author can just make it how he see fits. The author specifically made it scientific and observational in nature. You can't 'integrate' someone else's science and observation ability into your own through self-gaslighting.
You CAN however, gaslight someone into forgetting science or dull his observation abilities, so the only part of this scene that remotely makes sense is blocking his ability to use magic.

Literally every manga that does this is trash.
Absolutely nobody sane appreciates flashbacks to events that didn't actually take place and exist solely to shoehorn in explanations of author's asspulls

Deus ex machina with shoehorned in flashbacks to explain the deux ex machinas

So... we weren't shown this at the school because..................
because the author obviously realized he needed to explain his bs somehow so he created a flashback of something that didn't happen.
Even now: an almost omniscient user got manipulated into forgetting his magic... ok, fair..... but she somhow.... manipulated herself into using magic for which she knew no principal behind how it works ?????
