Nope, your way off. Why, in all the chapters you read, would she want him to have no confidence? In no shape or form did she "pick him apart" in any instances. She literally told him that the reason she felt he was off or had "bad vibes" was because that wasn't who he was in the first place. After his "development" arc she broke down how all he learned wasn't that good. She told him, the advice from pretty boy were bad cause no girl he (pretty boy) slept with told him otherwise due to them only liking his looks. The Fmc's big sis was treating him like a toy. And his junior didn't want to hurt his feelings and was new to sex. She realized that telling him to go and sleep around too kinda backfired on mc and apologized. And the "attention from other girls" only came from the sister, who is more into sex than FMC, and his junior, who already had a crush on him. And you can't use the girls who like pretty boy as a standard here. Him having confidence isn't bad but in this case it was misplaced. And calling her evil is a major stretch. She's not even a bad person.

And honestly, the sex skills weren't bad in the beginning. She never said he was bad. The only reason she told him to go and sleep with other girls was because that was what she thought was fair since she was still going to sleep with other boys. I think he was the one who jumped to the conclusion that he was bad at sex. At the end of the day the confidence was misplaced and now that he knows all he needs to do is just start from square one and don't get advice from the pretty boy who has no skills in sex, only looks.

Ok, sure he felt confidence, but by doing so he neglected the other person and became a different person. In the beginning, he wasn't having sex with no strings attached. In fact, the only reason he had sex with her was because he liked her. For a while he refused to have sex with her cause of the whole "we're not dating, so we shouldn't have sex" mentality. And when they started having sex he was more attentive to FMC than he is now. Attentive in the sense that he was doing things that she liked and he saw that, but now he's doing generic things that he thinks she would like cause he taught "if it works on someone else then it can work on her." Like she said, the advice he got from the pretty boy is bad advice cause he only gets good compliments from girls who are mostly into his looks. Based on that, sex with pretty boy seems kinda dull or not as enjoyable. So mc getting advice from him was already kinda bad. Fmc's big sis, yeah, she seems to not really care about skill or what not, she only sees MC as a toy. Junior, she likes mc, so even when she doesn't feel "excitement" during their sex, she won't say anything. Also she was literally a virgin couple chapters ago, so she's still new to the whole sex thing. What he needed to improve was the confidence in himself, his previous self.

Like I said FMC and junior, FMC in particular, liked having sex with him before his whole "development" arc, cause he was more himself and attentive. Now, it seems he's just trying to prove at point or win an imaginary competition. The reason she said his vibes was "hurtful" cause FMC probably now sees the difference between sex with a caring partner vs sex with someone who just only sees her as a living Fleshlight.

And let's not forget, FMC has more experience with sex than mc. And MC has only slept with three people, two of which are experienced and the one was recently a virgin. She told him to sleep with other girls, but he refused and only slept with people he knew. Now if he slept with other girls that have no relationship with him, then I believe they would have said something or not, depends solely on the writer.


TL;DR: mc changed who he was into something he's not. MC was good as who he was, all he needed was to build on that. The advice that he got were either not constructive or were bad advice from the get go. MC doesn't seem like the person who can "have no strings attached" when it comes to sex. He, as person, works better with said strings. In my opinion, he seems to be trying to win an imaginary competition or prove a point then to show affection.

You do realize that the confidence he had was false. She explained that he didn't "improve" on anything. Sure he was "confident" that he improved, but he hasn't "improved" at all. It's like saying you're "confident" in your art work; sure you had good foundation, but that's it. You got help from another person who you thought was better at art then you, but just turns out that they were mediocre. The person just had connections/ outside advantages that prevented or made it difficult for people to be honest about their skills. Then you go to a senior who likes to have fun with their junior and not seriously tell you what you need to improve. And then you have a junior who might be new to the whole art thing, but can tell that, though, what skills you have are good, there not the best, but because that junior likes you and doesn't want to hurt your feelings, they give you compliments and no functional criticism for improvement.
That MC right now, thinking he made it as a "man," when really he went backwards. Instead of improving what he already had, he got blinded by the end goal and took a path that wasn't right for him.
Not saying he shouldn't be sleeping with other people ( cause that is their relationship right now and I'm not going to judge it), I'm saying that when he was sleeping around he changed who he was instead of improving on what he already was. Because what he was was what attracted both FMC and the junior to him. As for the big sis, whelp, she's to free for me to even understand what she liked about MC other then her seeing him as a new toy.

I can agree to some of the points you made other then the devs favoring MC and the AI loving mc.
The devs aren't favoring MC, they have to be cautious of him because he's so damn strong without cheats and good luck to get his stick. Like stated here, he's destroyed a universe with a serious attack. He crashed their server. Because of mc, the plot of the game has been fast forward by lot. Now season 2 of the game came out because of MC and most of the player base are still under level to fight the basic enemies season 2 brings. So, no, the devs don't favor him, they are super cautious of him and try to make plans accordingly. The only one on the devs side that seems to calm and cool headed is the president, but everyone else are stressing on what MC is going to do next.
As for the AI loving mc, if we're talking about Fenrir and the dragon, then yeah, he's made bonds with them and those bonds transitioned to people connected to those two. But honestly, only a handful of AI likes mc, others are just rightfully scared of him due to his powers, and others hate him just because. Now if we're talking about Mother, then we truly don't know her whole deal. Is she truly AI? Does she like humans? Is she the true creator/sole creator of that world? Like, she has more questions than answers about her.
