this manga is so hilarious and always amazes me with how good they present new plot

I want to believe that the author is not at fault for doing this and that the story was probably, originally, going to take another turn with the grandmother being the deceased, but maybe the publishers disapproved of this turn of direction because of it putting bad light on the child and grandmother. For instance, because the grandmother would curse a child for embracing their childhood (which would make it hard for them to square up, and become a powerhouse together like the other main casts because of some baseless turmoil), and the president corelating with their grown-up behaviour to neglect it and have fun with their friends instead, which could give backlash. I think the author was going for the grandmother to be the bad guy, but something hindered him from doing so and instead made it a wholesome endeavour. And as stated earlier, correlation cause causation, or fuck around, find out.

I agree with these people here, but it is 20 years since he started and well over that since he said he just turned 20 when he started on this last chapter one-shot and he is 47 now. Still younger than the other mangaka of the big three.

man, I would definitely watch this if it was an anime, Its sad when these things happen to manga, where they abrupt idly end

I can imagine an anime of this but with a good amount of polish and more context in the screen-time of characters to not make it too fast paced or shallow

this show, in the beginning, reminded me somewhat of shows such as trigun, I think the reason they stopped airing this manga was because of the lack of originality, but I like the vibe of Kubo Tite's characters and the way they interact.

imo they should have teamed on him right away and they could have easily comboed his ass with 2 bankai, like, he is a big target so holding him down with rukia and renji then hirako and bjaku attack with momo maybe using explosions to boost the scattered senbonsakura blades acceleration, etc.

I expected nemu to die, but it was executed perfectly, I liked mayuri more in this chapter and will be putting him on my favourite character list on MAL.
The only thing that would make it more cold was if mayuri replied to the "nemu not being perfect" part and show he still loved her even without her perfections.
