im going to be dropping this i didnt get too far into it, honestly i only really got the 7th chapter but i can easily just see how this manga will play out.

now dont get me wrong, it has alot of differences from other fantasy slop and i believe its not slop, just flaws are obvious. this is lowkey really slow paced and it just feels so anticlimactic it pisses me off to the point its unbearable. on the other hand, the artwork is very good, pretty detailed and refreshing for a fantasy isekai and it also carries a very serious tone that makes me think that this would have a more gory or violent tone.

as much as i DO want to read more, i feel as if i know that nothing is really gonna happen for a lil bit and its just gonna lead into a really peak and massive arc or an insane climax (i hope :pray:). i do recommend giving it a try nonetheless, its really good just not my cup of tea. probably will reread maybe in the future but jus gonna leave it here for now.

I do think being pissed is fine but hes on some crazy next gen hatred run rn. If you just look at it from there perspective, I think they are right. Yeah they didn’t train him or try to look into his ability, but that’s because his ability is so unknown to their generation they’re In right now so they don’t really know what to do. Also since they are ascending to the very top ranks of adventurers and likely reaching quests where they need to push themselves as much as they can, having a guy like him who can only just carry luggage and not really much else is a genuine liability and a hazard to literally everyone.

I understand why hes upset but honestly any good leader would’ve ejected him out a lot earlier, it’s only right. Personally I would’ve tried to just have him independently try to figure out his ability while he’s out and when he can do something hes back.

Probably hoping that this story moves in the direction of “character development” instead Bro cuz god damn this mc is ass

all about it so far is interesting and cool mc. but dude this shit looks kinda destined for failure, dont mind the pessimism but its just pure pattern recognition. if they can make the story interesting throughout then this could be like one of the best hidden gems otherwise it just looks sketchy honestly.

ok look i wish this didnt have such a shitty title. it does have op mc and has alot of tropes obviously. but so far (by chapter 14 at the time that im writing this where im waiting for more) its actually pretty good and theres some interesting parts of the story.

the main character IN GENERAL isnt some op mc whos interested in magic but also really kind, hes deadass just full on into sorcery and magic. thats his whole gig and hes morally grey. its very clear as when we look at his backstory in chapter one his whole village is jus slimed out and thus he has a traumatic childhood and hes kinda jus emotionless and follows through with what he wants. i think its a little better and worth the read compared to other slop since the mc is edgy but is intriguing. also sorcery and magic ARE different things, different and kinda rare power system. jus go read it yourself thats it lol.
