Some fragments in a empire vault or something. Has a deal with the princess to get 3 of any items from that vault if MC helped her deal with the current situation of a generally evil group trying to attack the city/possibly targeting the students. MC agreed because MC was going to do that anyway and it meant not having to break into a royal vault

At the beginning MC took on the original professor's identity when traveling on a train and it was attacked and that person died. Turned out that person wasn't that professor either but a undercover member of the evil group, MC inadvertently took on that undercover identity as well and eventually has decided to destroy the evil group.

MC got together previous allies destroying the worst part of the city the university is in's underground, taking it over.

Female Sherlock Holmes finally learned MC wasn't evil when Sherlock looked into MC's memories and finally learned MC is not a enemy. Watson turned out to be a memory-less child or construct based on the lives of other children to be programed as super soldiers or something. MC saved Watson and left Watson for Sherlock to find and take in. The police were in on kidnapping children for this horror so MC played the villain for awhile, specifically the contrived identity of Moriarty even though MC went by "Moriarty" before then

MC has some god like beings (at least 2) in em one which sucks people up alive turning people into part of them in a kind of inadvertent endless torture. The god-likes want MC to decide something, like which one MC goes with or something. MC doesn't like turning to them

MC has a super powerful Vampire (possibly the worlds last vampire) for a mentor/mother-figure who took care of MC when MC was a child, wanting MC to become strong enough to end her eternal life.

MC has a allie who was a victim of the evil groups experimentation? Has a powerful being in em that they are careful to not let out. Can turn werewolf and command rats and birds as part of the powerful being insides power. Let out the powerful being earlier when desperate and turned rampaging.

One of MC's fellow professors was also working for the evil group, wanted nonsensical revenge on MC thinking MC was the reason her village was slaughtered for some reason. Took in some fiery evil being. Got a split personality, till the original revenge seeking personality died and now it's just the sweet other personality with few memories,

(lots of people with powerful evil/dangerous beings in them :p )
