This school has really let down the students as far as the knights go. The teachers not putting a stop to this shit doesn't only hurt the victims, but the bullies and knights in general. Instead of being being ejected from school they get the message that behavior like this is OK. Imagine how shitty such knights would treat regular civilians after getting out of school, the people they presumably need to protect. And the reputation damage that would follow as well.

I disagree with you and Kirito. It's a world fleshed out and told from different angles and perspectives. Valid criticize for that whole memory transfer arc, absolutely terrible. But silly to criticize the story for something good like this IMO. Stories don't always need to center around a never changing MC.

Japanese and maybe Korean comics often have pretty female slaves for MC to buy or free so they can be ever so grateful to MC over the slightest thing like not beating them or what not. At the same time these MC almost never try to overturn the evil slavery. So don't write off the possibility of it being a escaped slave.

On the other hand the comic seems to rely on MC's dense obliviousness and a slave could inform MC of the evil Empire so maybe not a slave after all.

This new direction, I don't like it much. But I will stick with this a bit longer.

Don't wait till after the mission to escape, something might, nay, probably will, stop MC from escaping again.

I don't get that ending, why assume "love" based on so few words? And the "tsk" interruption and the "We're friends aren't we?" words at the end spoken by who knows....or perhaps not spoken aloud at all?
