Oh, on a side note Smallpox was actually used against the Native American tribes. Since they had less immunity than European settler populations it proved extremely effective. This was both done intentionally and unintentionally at different points. Not sure you can consider a genocide like that a war though.

Not typically since plagues are very hard to control in that way, but in smaller scale biological warfare has been used many times, from catapulting festering corpses into castles to dumping bodies in rivers or wells to contaminate them.

But you're right, in standard soccer rules a goalie can score.
Edit: The youth soccer games I played when younger had a "no goalie scoring" rule which was probably so kids would focus on passing the ball and not just try kicking it across the field.
