Speaking of dying, the fact that there hasn't been any deaths in this story is massively disappointing. The MC constantly talks about deathfights but never kills. Not even any of the actual antagonists kill people. Blood did before we met him but then never got a chance to kill a single person while on screen. Very unsatisfying.

Him: she hates me, I have got to be a villian and make her mine
Her: *is supposed to devote herself to a man who can pull her out of her desperate situation*
Him: *is definitely about to do that so he can lord it over her*

I mean her daughters life may be at risk and her best solution was sports day. I give it a C+ as a plan.
