Absolutely perfect. I wanted to see something like this without it detracting from the big badass dragon aspect so I'm glad the cute human-like form has something like stat reductions and mana drain to make it inconvenient to keep on all the time (was it like a 50% reduction back in those earlier chapters? maybe it slightly improved? (if it does improve I hope it doesn't ever fully avoid stat reductions, I think 20% less would be a fine maximum on efficiency)). They probably won't ever have it on in a serious battle, and it's a plus that their mana drains a bit faster than it regains so it pushes out the possibility they keep it on for long periods of time at least at this level of evolution. Temporary monstergirl/boy/femboy/thing is peak!!!

What a callous group of players. I'd think most people in a fulldive VR type of game would feel at least some remorse at killing fleeing realistic human villagers? Imagine the screams, the blood, the fact without one clean hit they're left pleading on the ground for mercy, and none of these players in this story even went, "that was kinda fucked up, no?" to the group.
