This explains why he didn't use Itty to clear the floor he's stuck on in the future. I was wondering about that.

I think that's about as logical as you can expect someone to be in that situation.

You try making logical decisions a few seconds after waking up from a drugged stupor

She just woke up from being drugged. Cut her some slack. Most people aren't functional for a few minutes after waking up from normal sleep so she must be really confused.
I also get upset when characters are overly stupid but it also pisses me off when comment section warriors assume that being the enlightened beings they are they would have full cognitive function in every situation no matter the circumstances.

You know if they had shown the big fight and Joshua breaking mentally when his dad died, this ark wouldn't have felt so out of place. Instead they just told us the most important fight in the series took place offscreen and we are just supposed to accept that.

Ngl I kinda understand that impulse. He spent his whole life being let down by everyone in his life other than his mom who was barely around because she was working to provide for 2 kids. He then became hardened and forcefully self sufficient, and then when he thought everything was over someone swooped in to save him. As a trauma response it actually makes a lot of sense to then become completely dependent on that person and idolize them.

Well good villains have relatable or understandable goals while going about achieving then in immoral ways. I think this kinda falls in that category. I don't feel bad for her, but I definitely understand the impulse of trying to get human sensation back after being an undead for hundreds of years.
