Another manga with artwork that matches my preference. It does feel like shoujo, but she is still cute. A girl with a strong physique and determination is my favorite. Early chapter kinda mess. But after Cain appear it become better. While battle scene is standard, manga-ka able to convey character movement.

For some reason, the soul remembers the swordsmith's name but not her own past. There are many things unexplored, such as magic. Anzel can "summon" weapon out of thin air and more. But because Nia is cute, all is forgiven.

The guild also doesn't know the true power of Cain. Yeah, Cain could stop a horde of monsters. So the guild judges his power based on the S-rank human limitation. From the story direction here, I can guess that in the next chapter they will definitely gang up on Cain with 100+ people of A-B rank equivalent. Corgino's reasoning is just simplistic. If you can't win with quality, then pump up the quantity. This is like USSR in WW II overwhelm German with cheap mass produced T-34. But he don't know T-34 can't defeat ADFX-01 Morgan with MPBM that can nuke small area.

Only the king's inner circle knew that Cain is a demigod. The villain really needs to rethink the plan when the guildmaster says that Cain is able to defeat a dragon. I forgot if this series had a classification of different dragons (True, Ancient, Low). But if I remember correctly, a dragon in here needs at least an A-rank party. A party, not just a single A-rank person.

Anime adaptation pacing is wonky. Even I, who didn't read the original source, feel that most scenes are rushed and lack explanation. I read the WN translation up to Root's appearance. However, I stopped reading it because I found the translation at the time to be rough.

Agree with you. Light and entertaining. While Nia is a battle junkie, she is still reasonable. This new soul is not throwing tantrums or running from her family just for a battle. Actually, she has a pretty good relationship with her new family.

Nia Liston ad for LN vol 4. I don't know who VA for this ad, but she sounds like Rie Kugimiya (Kagura in Gintama), I think. Well, for the time being, I will imagine her voice like that. FYI, she dyed her hair sometimes because Nia is a celebrity. Her white hair is an obvious identifier. Anyone who has already watched her from MV will know just from the hair.

Reminder for everyone, this is not a battle-focused manga. It's somewhere around 25% battle, 75% SoL + fantasy entertainment industry. Please don't expect every chapter to be another bloodbath. She is not Olivia Valedstorm (Death's Daughter and the Ebony Blade).

I hope this got more popular because I enjoy MC who love doing her hobby. While she did not neglect her duty as child of noble.

Yup, I also read that. Though I'm fine with Chris/Inglis time skip, I wish she stay as kid a bit longer. Nia until third volume of manga still kid. One another that I like from this manga is its background art. Mountain, forest, building all gorgeous. Sure probably some traced or using filter effect from photo.

FYI official EN LN translation is already released up to vol 2. Vol 3 released as part. Manga in JP also at vol 3. After reading first LN, this vol 1 adapted whole first vol + few bits of chapter 1 vol 2 for hooking next vol. Story is fun but not always bloodbath. This is more about entertainment industry in fantasy land. It just happen our little MC is battle maniac.

The way I see it, anime is adapting story of manga version. Sure they change first episode with the half part focusing on Alicia. But, are you going to rant again later when Alicia grinding level with Yumiella. Because that part already different from LN version. Oh also when Alicia asking advice to Yumiella in library. That scene is nowhere in LN. It just on manga chapter 9 and later also in anime episode 6.I assume you already read the LN, not hearing/reading from someone comment.

The anime staff probably have input from manga author what are they going to do with their story version. It's not unusual manga-ka already have story outline at least 5 chapter ahead. They just can't draw fast enough. Writing text is quite simple.

Actually it is more mystery how original LN author allowed manga author modified the story. I see some other author throwing tantrum when story of other media didn't match with their vision.
