I mean, nobody "deserves" to have their soul shattered. That's a heavy punishment and honestly Vandeliu being able to just eradicate someone's very existence like that on his own whims is honestly terrifyingly overkill. It's not about deserves or not. If Van wants to shattered someone's soul, he just can. He wants revenge, he's justified in wanting to kill his mother's killers but he can do way more than kill them.

Heinz and friends? Kill them if you want but save the soul shattering for bastards like the isekai murder hobo and that shitty useless god. If he wants real revenge he should torture Heinz. Holy shit, that was probably the most brutal kill of the manga?? And it was wasted on some paper pushing sycophant. The guy did the least and got killed in the worst way compared to the guys in the war who insta died by quick beheading and blood magatama draining.

They're monsters 😅 but also ants do have stingers, or at least certain kinds do. Heck, a fire ants bite is just them latching on so they can sting you with their stinger on their rear🙃

I mean it's kinda obvious that his own interpretation of the people he's engaged with have altered his perception of them. His strong willed and mighty maid having an oni horn is sensible. His mother seemingly like a heroine to him is just how he's always viewed her, the princess having a quill pen makes sense due to them basically being pen pals for a while, his master being a radiant being of light is neat since he basically showed him a new path to gaining his sight as a light in his life, unlike the sun, that never shone for him so he cant grasp it as an illuminutive star and only a reminder that its rays never cast light for him so it's black...
the only outlier is his father... guess he thought little of him past just hearing his voice that even seeing him shows only a vague apparition... that's sad and I hope I'm wrong about that at least... 😔
