I'm confused. At first I thought he could only see the RARITY of cards. But if that's the case, why did he pick the common card and somehow KNOW it was fireball a few chapters ago? When the image clearly showed higher rarity options.
Does he know also WHAT the skill card is? Because the fireball time and this time, it doesn't look like he knows WHAT the card is, just the RARITY. But unless it's just poor translation, it read like he knew he was choosing Telekinesis this time.

I should have named my other dog knifey-spoony. When she was a puppy she discovered that she got a lot of attention if she grabbed things like controllers or utensils. But when she found out EVERYONE would pay attention if she found a knife there was a wild period of time where she'd get on the counter, fish a chef's knife out of the block, and then come running to the door, knife in mouth, because she discovered that was the way to get pets first over the other dogs.

One of my dogs is named lucky. We found her as a baby out in the snow in February in Wisconsin. Young enough she should have still been weaning. I already had two dogs so my friend (at the time) took her and named her Lucky.
She really was lucky though. That asshole abandoned her when he moved out, just locked her in a crate and left. Luckily another friend had texted me asking "how the first week" of her getting along with my two dogs was. Confused as I was, and unable to reach the guy who previously had her, I did manage to get ahold of the landlord and access to where he was previously renting. Yes it's nonsensical. Force log just because fast heart rate? What if you get jump scared? What if you're in combat, when almost all games REFUSE to allow you to log and even if your force disconnect it will maintain your character instance, meaning you're getting booted and looted. You wouldn't even need good skills, literally just jump scare people.
It would make more sense if it noticed arrhythmia or vtac or something. But, even better, the capsules could be an AED anyways.

Why would another character see your NPC interaction regarding a quest. That would mean single instance NPCs and nothing would ever get done.

Just so you know, most well designed MMO have scripts and algorithms that flag certain account behaviors, changes, etc. That's commonly how they find people hacking, scripting, aimbotting or other means of cheating.
Some even go as far as to monitor MOUSE BEHAVIOR and if one day your cursor is constantly moving in a way abnormal to your account's usual history, it can get your account flagged for investigation.
