Example: what if every "level up" is a 5% gain in stats. Something like permanent+10 ki at level 1 where the average might be 3, means instead of becoming 3.15, it will become 16.6 (3+10 then +5% at level up) which would have compounding returns (invest early).
While something like +5% to all stats would be less at this level and onward as compounded. Although it's all stats. So his 3 would be 3.15 + the level up 5%. It depends on how many stats there are, how difficult it is to add raw value to said stats.
Likewise we have no idea what techniques do. Maybe part of. technique partial and full mastery add stats
