ok so, MC has incredibly shitty parents, his mom's a hoe that brings a different man home every day and beats MC up to vent her anger, MC just wants someone to appreciate him so he doesn't fight back, does everything he can to please his mom and that lead to him getting sold into sex work by debt collectors and gets abused by both men and women.
FMC on the other hand is the typical tsundere rich lady which only issue is "oh boohoo my parents are too busy making billions while travelling to sing me lullabys and hold my hand as i fall asleep, my life is fucking terrible!" but her father still cares about her
and that's that, oh right, in the latest chapters so far (16) MC's mother dies while telling MC "you should be the one suffering and dying" and FMC moves to the US to be with her father, meanwhile MC is figuring out it's not wrong to hate his absolute garbage piece of shit of a mother, thanks to his friend.

my guess is they wasted too many chapters going in circles and readers got tired of getting blue balled, those 3 chapters of heated discussion without a resolution were definitely a big help in getting axed.
