my guess is they wasted too many chapters going in circles and readers got tired of getting blue balled, those 3 chapters of heated discussion without a resolution were definitely a big help in getting axed.

only read a few chapters to get an idea but so far it seems like the girl agreed to date the friend to not break apart their group but decided to risk it since she actually loves MC and it appears she's running out of time for whatever reason, either moving away or something more serious.

my guess is she either was told about her real family from the townspeople (their mom was supposedly a legendary adventurer, it's not unreasonable for people to know she had 2 kids and as per the usual manga clichè, black hair and eyes in fantasy worlds are rare) or the goddess being incredibly clumsy... just fucked up there too.

the father is just bad at expressing himself but if they got married she should at least have an idea of that being the case, this makes the suffering of the family 99% the mother's fault.

the wife absolutely doesn't deserve anything good to come out of this, she made 2 people suffer a lot for 13 years because of her own mental problems, the dad and daughter deserve better, she doesn't.

hmm so far, the suicidal MC is the most stable of the main characters.
