this is pretty good, my only bone to pick is how incredibly shitty MC's mother was, like at some point she even recognizes it herself to his face and doesn't try to change it even in her last moments, worst of all she then had the nerve to claim "she really longed for a family"... BITCH YOU HAVE A SON and left him home alone multiple weeks at a time, several times for her career, without any relatives or caretakers and it started when he was like in elementary school... last time she gave a fuck about him he looked no older than 6 and he also had to shoulder all the mocking and scorning of the people around him comparing him to his mother, honestly orphans probably have better childhoods than this MC.
it's pretty funny thinking that if MC had any friends or relatives at any point until the start of the story, his mother's career would have gone down the drain cause they would have contacted child protective services she would have been charged with child neglect...
