I was on course for giving this a 4/5 but it just... ends. Nothing gets tied up it's like they literally wake up, eat breakfast and, THE END.
There is a sequel, so perhaps the author got axed and took the work elsewhere to finish or he simply changed the title?
Either way, this is both incredibly bleak and brilliant; it's gritty realism dealing with the nastiest fringes of Japan.
