And... it was nowhere near as good as any of them. Not even close. In fact, I got bored during only the 9th chapter - and they're short chapters - and dumped this.

Well, this sounds cute.

A total mess of storytelling, I dropped this shortly into the 2nd chapter, when I just couldn't be inspired to even try.

I did espy that the said chapter ended in an interesting way... but there are way too many other titles out there for me to waste time on this.

Edit: if someone manages to finish this and announces that the confusing to the point being almost nonsensical narrative does a 180, and this story improves unrecognisably because of it, I may try again... but I doubt that'll ever happen.
