Just finished chapter 30 and you are completely right. the concept of a mc that is weak and has a lot of connections and the "king of alteration" where you would have a hero party with 1 member that changes every mission is "interesting" at best, but the execution is terrible, and there is more holes in this brainrot plot than in a cheese grater. Also, why the fuck is the loli princess naked in almost every chapter?

They hooked me with the merman tribe scene in the first couple chapters and I thought it's going in a direction where MC Interacts with different species or unique people and hires them or cash in favors to help him finish weird or otherwise impossible quests so i kept on reading. but noo, it's a 25 chapter nothing burger then we get borderline loli hentai with a loli princess that apparently turns into a dragon overcoming the "dragonification disease" with the power of friendship and one shots a poison dragon that has been tormenting countries for years and saves the day.

I should've heeded your advice wise one. I'm filled with regrets

I agree, I wanted him to stay with the mercenaries and learn life that way, maybe he ends up finding some kind of crazy unique mercenary group similar to the one in Eternally Regressing Knight and imo that would have been more interesting. i skipped most of the bullying/noble and commoner bullshit scenes because it just doesn't feel right in this series, also I'm kinda bored of the school/academy genre since so many webtoons tend to go with that trope lol.

I stopped reading at around 105 and will probably wait until this has ~200chp or finished to pick it up again
