By law she is allowed to receive just recompense for the use of her future husbands body. They used her fiance's body to make a lot of money and also helped the sect gain a lot of power. She should be awarded some monetary gain and also a position in the sect if desired! It's the right thing to do!

I highly doubt it, I remember someone was saying that people hated the original ending so this is probably one of those pivotal decisions that change the story.

Damn that was a really beautiful story

Damn this whole chapter gave a sense of ominous feeling. Frieren isn't acting normal and it isn't because of some fake purchase.

I thought this series was dropped?

When the MC said "split up and go our separate ways" it had a bloodied background. To me, it could mean rounding up all the bad guys wreaking havoc on the town and killing them, it could mean the MC is deciding to go on a journey alone after this conflict, or it could mean that he's giving the grandpas a separate mission entirely. I know it is likely to be the first option I stated but this is a story and you never know when a koala is going to be introduced.

That last statement sounded really open-ended.
