BernieBear I will have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. Talking about the future possibilities in the comment section is a natural thing to do and does not spoil it for future readers. These types of guesses can form a dialogue between people and get the readers thinking in different ways. Having another reader view your point of view helps someone think more deeply and think of perspectives they may not have thought about. This type of experience should not have any negative effect on someone just casually reading the comment section.

There WOULD be a problem if someone made a prediction and then at some point in the future returned to the original to comment to update it on it's validity. (But then they would need to add a spoiler tag according to this sites rules). Future readers will read the story from beginning to the end naturally following the flow of the comment section as well. I don't think it would ruin the experience because the comment section is always at the end of the chapter so future readers have the same point of reference we do when we are speculating about something.

I recommend you don't get upset that you considered a different point of view when reading comments but embrace different possibilities that other viewers may have. This helps build your own reasoning and helps you develop as a reader.

I know exactly 2 people who have fallen for long distance relationship scams. If you are having fun then that is all that matters, but just be careful to not fall for any obvious tricks like suddenly needing a lot of money for an emergency, car broke down and need money for repair, got kicked out of the house and need money for down payment, etc. People who fall for these traps never want to believe they are being deceived so they go to great lengths to convince themselves they aren't being deceived and get tricked multiple times before they catch on. And scammers on their part may seem like they are putting a lot of effort but are juggling the same con to 8 different victims at the same time. Just be careful!

I also know people who started a relationship online and they made it work into the real world but it's always wise to keep your guard up!
