Just because she is capable does not take away consideration for her character. She proves everyone right by betraying everything that she is supposed to represent. Everyone saw the nastiness of jealousy in her heart and those feelings led her to cross the lines that should never be crossed. You are trying to justify a villains irrational thoughts. You do realize that Feng Jung holds an elite position in her sect correct? That means she enjoys the privileges of holding an advanced position, they may not be equivalent to Xin Yan but they are still privileges afforded to someone with an elevated status. She betrayed her sect because she wasn't getting exactly what Xin Yan was getting. She is not being mistreated it's all problems that come from her jealousy. It's justifiable to hate her because she's planning a MURDER for such a petty reason.
