I think Perez did not misunderstand it. He knew that but he since he love her so much, he would use any chance to get affection from her. With this fake engagement, technically he would be able to show more affection that would be a no-no if they keep their status as only friend.

I've seen other story like this, the male MC usually cold but behaves totally different toward female MC after he loves her. Meanwhile Perez is one consistent MC. It's nice that he fully trust and support Tia. Iirc, he also never had any misunderstanding toward her. Ng, I am usually mad whenever I had to read a manhwa romance with a lot of painful-to-read misunderstandings....

Exactly. Raon is prideful as a dragon. This shows when he kept saying that he was strong and refusing to polymorph to human. However, since he's been protecting Cale and other people, he learned how to care others. Also since Cale and his inner circle knew Raon's past and even helped in Raon's revenge. He's done being a bitter and hurtful dragon. Raon now is a nice dragon kid with a bit mischievous side.

I'm having mixed feeling about this.
Sure Scaram was a baddie, but at the very least he's not the first character I want to receive this treatment....I would prefer Greed receiving this end over Scaram....

Unfortunately I have to disagree. I bet the moment he tried that, the mother will dispose all the evidences. Even a king can't arrest a powerful family head without any evidence. Also, if he can't prove their evildoing...he's probably going to die...by his family...

Not to mention he didn't reveal this to the princess. He's afraid that the princess may despise him and his family. Knowing that....you think he would reveal to the king?

Technically, a desperate time reveals and amplify human natures. An evil person will become more evil. A kind person will become a kinder person.
With some exception ofc. A good yet calculative push may turn people into a better version of themselves. Like the cook who keeps bribing the baddies his special foods.

He's not crazy. Letting them escape without any plan is crazy and truthfully impossible. Remember, this is just one boy without any power and influence in his household. They're definetely get caught if they walked outside without preparation.
Thus, he end them because he knows that they can't escape from his mother. It's not a really nice ending but I think, it's a logical one.
