Once you get into the work force....it's never "over".
It's annoying at times because they're always painted as the antagonist, but it's good for drama and character building I guess.
He isn't a bad person per se, he still wanted to have the kid if she also wanted it. He respects her enough for that, but he must've gotten tired of her grieving and I get it, it's harmful to be delusional like that, but there are better ways to handle it. Humor her for a bit and slowly lead her to reality. Or just, play along with it, and dream about how their son is in another world now; y'know, like how ppl who believe in heaven will say "he's in a better place now" to help make them feel better about losing someone.
I'd love to see their broken relationship be mended, but I don't think the author is planning to do that with Doubara being the protagonist.
Josei often depicts realistic relationship and would opt for a break up if it means the girl gets to "learn about herself". I... don't really like those endings. Why can't we have both? Teaching"older" women how to be in a healthy relationship is good too.
Love interest for the art friend?
Just additional friend?
I know the big picture of what happened, but these tiny moments, referring to things that happened on previous chapters months ago is... yeah...
They say cheesy lines, but it comes so naturally that it doesn't feel that way. It's not a set up just to do something cool, like some k-drama / romance movies.
Is it because this is Seinen tag?
Also, I like his reaction when thinking "There's a next time...?" XD
I wonder what his future will be like and what was his dream again? Can't really remember..
Also, Karuoko's teacher doesn't sound like a bad person despite her (traumatic?) prejudice against the boys' school.
Instead of working on your outer image, work on your inner self. Beauty can only take you so far.
Also like Nobunaga Oda when he wanted to unite Japan, right?
Qin didn't last long. Oda never made it to the end. But I guess in those era, that kind of mindset is common.
I didn't read enough to know what ended up really uniting those two countries though. Something must've worked.
I feel like, if they're that dumb, they would've been broke and destroyed the house even before they had kids. For the wife to just blurt out "we were just following orders", I have the same reaction of the prince, like 'well, that was fast.'
It's giving me mixed feelings, they're trying to portray the parents to be this problem / scary figure, being put as a cliff hanger when trying to get her brother, but then, they disappeared as easily as they came.
Idk, doesn't seem to have much weight. I'm expecting too much XD
Also, all of these love interest are quite different altogether. It's really refreshing. I still think the playboy kouhai is the best in terms of emotionally hurting me. Oh, but the gardening club person was also bittersweet sad.
Will they eventually admit it to the police? And be put in jail? Will this even get a happy ending??
