I think everyone is noticing but they changed the weight of this Manwha randomly. People died but it was always kinda low stakes. Now out of nowhere they're deciding to lock back into an actual story out of nowhere and it feels awkward/noticeable. I think from when his dwarf companion died is when it became really apparent. I'll let it go if they pick on narrative weight and stick with it (like light hardy vs serious), but this story needs to find it's stride. It's kind of confusing to follow at the moment.

The jiwoo challenge was valid to some extent, but characters with true aura would try to fight on neutral territory. She did act independently and get her master's arm ultimately blown off (despite it also being his ego). She honestly would've survived if she didn't try to provoke garas to spin the block. That's just a lack of consideration. Your master is literally missing an arm, and we all were able to break away on mutual agreement. You want me to try to solo a fight against Pluton, injured Kayden, kartein, and gestella? Maybe even a random zero point punch from jiwoo?😭 Iodore literally can't gather energy rn, and two top 50s in the bottom ranks, are not handling two top 50s that scratch the top 10. Yeah me and you are on the same page. It's especially weird because he is a regressor, so from a maturity aspect to I really don't need to see more of this academy romance plot. I thought it was gonna be "let's join school for a while, aura farm for a bit, learn some things I didn't know about, and leave once I've found a new objective." I feel like the night hound arc and the school arc really should've just been two separate things. It's too much story to tell on both sides. In general the author needs to lock in.

I largely agree. Initially I thought it was going to be fun, and it could have been if it followed the pacing of other academy type stories, but this arc has been such a drag. I am so uninterested in all of it. I especially don't care for this harem that's forming. Stick with Aiyen and progress the story😭🙏🏿. I just don't like the academy girls as romantic interest for Bichir. And Camyu imo lost her romance privileges. Idk rn just feels like it's lacking direction.
