The guy he wants to kill currently has the status of a hero, blessed by multiple gods. His stats are insane and his companions are pretty strong too. The MC was running through scenarios on how to kill him through his head and all calculations had him losing.

Yeah that must feel fucked up. The source of his hatred is legit trying to be a better person, and even worse he doesn't have the strength to beat him even though he's right there... The longer he lives the more good deeds he will do which will sour the vengeance even more. At times like this it's best to just focus on living your best possible life instead of seeking bloody vengeance but that's not something you can just decide to do easily.

Interesting. The MC is truly a wild card in this fight between the brave and the demon lord. They can predict the brave's actions easily, but they don't know a thing about the hero.
