Reasons why Ami's winning this is justified and wont be like yotsubas:

Ami has been building a slow and steady relationship with hayato. Starting of as friends and getting more emotionally conected (grandma, and now this)
They do things together a lot of times and have lots of fun together. Adding to that, she never tries to do pervy stuff with him (or with that intention) so there is a lot of confidence.
She could easily listen to him all she wants, she protects and is strong and really liked him from the start.
You got to remember that Ami is the youngest so if she is "stupid" she can become more mature if anything.
