Yeah, that actually ties things together really well! If Imu can revoke or alter someone’s immortality at will, it says a lot about how absolute their control over that power really is. It also makes me wonder if there are different “grades” or versions of immortality depending on how Imu grants it... like maybe Garling’s was a temporary or conditional one compared to Saturn’s (who died after a big failure).
And if Garling really lost his immortality after losing to Rocks, that could explain not just his aging but also why the Holy Knights’ hierarchy and the Gorosei seem to overlap now. Maybe Imu rewards loyalty and punishes failure directly through that immortality “blessing.” There is this big theory where Imu is linked to the Ope Ope no Mi (law's fruit) so maybe something this "immortality" stuff is linked to it?

I'm surprised to see that Garling is still aging "normally" despite being immortal, unlike Saturn, who hasn’t aged at all despite having the same ability. Does this mean Imu can grant powers differently to different people?
Also, Rocks casually slicing an island in half with his sword is just dope!
