Davy D Xebec aka Rocks is one of the best flashbacks we got ! Oda is spamming amazing flashbacks
Problem is (but probably and hopefully solved during the next chapters) Roger not being a central character of this whole event, like he just went to god valley to save shaky, where xebec has a big ulterior and justified motivation but well its okay since shaky is probably being viewed as a friend to the roger crew just like vivy or hancock to luffy kinda so he jumps to help her
Meanwhile the most weird character, and i am saying that with pain, is Garp... Looking at whats happening, marines just following orders like dogs, dragon not accepting wth is going on in front of his eyes as a new soldier (probably got in to follow on his father path or forced we dont know) but Garp just going for some reason after Roger's ass only and not seeing whats his own group doing... Kinda disappointing to see such a cool and free character as garp letting injustice like that being done
I just guess Xebec was the previous main Era before it became Roger's era with the famous One piece which again turned into White Beard era after it... Hell Xebec is such an amazing character and pirate this is awesome
