Honestly props to the author for letting the guy escalate without cucking himself and it being the FMC who pulled back first. I totally get the frustration with the crew sometimes and their limits given how far we're at, but give Oda a bit more time to cook. In the past we've had times where half the crew was losing to enemies only to learn about their weakness so they can turn it into an underdog win. Our crew are almost always underdogs and I don't see why that should change now taking on bigger and more dangerous enemies.
