Honestly the story so far is ok. But what's really bad about this story is mc's power to "curse" at his enemies. It promotes to us readers on how to get such a thing irl, in fact it exists and it's 1 of the worst things to approach while we're alive. Black magic, voodoo, witches, and fortune telling. (I bet u that people who go fortune telling don't get the results they want) don't go out there to find these things irl to deal with ur opp (this my warning)

So far, none of the demon faction or devil factions were shown to practice any evil martial arts in detail(other than that 1 time they showed the ability to take another person's vitality), they just happened to be tyrannical during mc's early days... I think the artists r being very sensitive and careful on these matters. Not wanting to cause trouble to it's own manhua series by provoking sects and cults of their own country. Bcuz even in old murim movies evil arts r related to voodoo and evil practices. But this manhua only shows that evil is from how someone misuses a power in general or to be more specific how the 'good' side doesn't like the opposing faction to use their power. (The evil side sure did kidnapped a lot of cultivators but it's nothing too evil tbh in fiction???)

Im ashamed cuz we don't get to see what causes the evil side to "be evil". This deep into the series and all it shows is [vitality suction] from the evil faction.... Meanwhile mc is straight up evil with his evil curse book. Mc isn't an expert swordsmaster, dude is a grandmaster of cursing. He spent most of his 700 years of time cursing nonstop rather than training with swords, other than that it's just meditation to increase 'cultivation'. Man if by the time mc ascends he doesn't become evil bcuz of the curse book it won't be peak fiction. Just some lame-ass "unbeatable sword under heaven" while he's being carried by his martial talent that he got from a gacha. He spends little time practicing the sword(only practice the sword through voice command so he can enter sword realm to meet his sword elder), majority of it spent on CURSING. When will mc meet the cursing elder from the curse intent mind realm.
