I am pretty sure people get curses because Mushia is alive. One unnatural immortal is alive, thousands of natural mortals must die to balance out the equation.
"In order to maintain the law and also keep it. You must die because she is alive". The book is talking to tulida, not to just anyone. That's why it addressed her as "you" then used "she" to mention Mushia.

Nice short read. Completed story with great execution.
It wasted no time to show all the needed elements, but it also wasn't rushed at all.
The story concept wasn't really "new" or unusual, but the idea was done beautifully. Characters were pretty good and had good concept.
Art was also pretty nice, though seemed a little inconsistent in some parts.

Hadar is gonna die. I'm calling it.
