This part is manga original using context clues told later in the novel, rudeus leaving was basically the last time we saw this group together. Spoilers about their role in the story: Suzanne is later hired as a wet nurse for redeus's family and we'll see Sara two times later in the story, first they finally come to terms with each other after a lot of awkwardness and the second time is much later as adults, it isn't for long but we get to catch up on how she's doing and they part ways.

I find the story plenty goofy and that's what I enjoyed, immediately comparing it to other works is where you're missing the point. The Mc is a child that is picked apart at every instance by the imaginary demon that later becomes real (it's basically his self doubt manifest), he's jealous and spiteful of those that have what he doesn't and hates heroes in that same train of thought. It has touched some flaws and shortcomings of the hero system but it doesn't glamorize the actions of real villains or the Mc, rather showing that intent is only half of the job. The view the Mc has of heroes is not being conveyed as truth either.
I don't see this being similar to my hero and the Mc being an immature child is half the point, it's not what the story is. I can see this being really good if it follows the growth of the Mc and expands the world building but there's only 5 chapters out now, feel free to disagree with what I've said i just wanted the give my piece because I don't think what you said represents the series at all.
