The following is not a spoiler but only my guess and humble opinion

She is most likely related to MC's father, Clan or Past involvement and hé is feeling guilty because of that same goes for the Old Man demise, MC's Father's guilty is also probably similar

She then learned that MC's Father and MC's Mother was involved in the War

She wanted attention from MC's father and found out he is not living far away with MC's Mother and felt that he abandoned her she wanted him to take care of her

Therefore she wanna Get revenge against the Martial wolrd who was responsible for her suffering even if it's mean becoming a demon herself

She is obviously jealous of MC and his mother
