In some stories, the pacing usually hits a hiccup between the resolution of a conflict and the beginning of another, whether it slows down too much and feels stale or jumps from one right to the other. But this one! The fluff (haha) feelS NECESSARY.. I love it! Well done! Arc to arc is seamless and is always stimulating

Toned women will still gain body fat, it's uncommon for a woman NOT to gain body fat during pregnancy, especially since it is unhealthy for the woman to not have enough fat during such a difficult time. Pregnancy takes a toll on the body, both during and after. But! A muscular woman is less likely to suffer from injury during the birthing process and is more likely to heal faster. If a woman is like me with less than sufficient abdominal musculature, she would be more likely to have those muscles pulled further apart laterally postpartum, which results in an even weaker state after recovery. My abdomen will randomly cramp, even at times of rest, since my body is a little confused about the incorrect positioning of my abdominal muscles. Prognosis: need more core workout! Strengthen those muscles, and they will eventually correct themselves.

No, I was just sharing a bit from my own birth experience. I had my first child fairly recently!

The uterus takes time to shrink back down, and depending on the elasticity of the skin on the stomach, it takes more time for the skin to shrink back as well. Though, it's common for there to be extra skin left over even after healing is done. And there is the extra fat gained as well to consider that was to help protect and nourish the baby. But there is a hole in the uterus from where the placenta was shed in the afterbirth, so there is usually a week or two with heavy bleeding as the body tries to heal the wound and shrink the uterus back down. The doctors pressed on my abdomen every 3 or 4 hours the three days I had to stay after giving birth to make sure i didnt collect too much blood inside and help accelerate the healing and shrinking process.
