Hear me out: she's playing the game and she learned (maybe got spoiler'd by a friend) about the true/hidden ending and she decided to dedicate this run for just that. She doesn't care about any of the nuances or details because Ricardo is just an NPC with stats -> and she wants to raise the affection stat. She doesn't actually care about him... so she is a player. She is far more detached from the reality of the game -> treating it as a toy.

I was gonna talk about double tapping... then I remembered how she effectively powderized his body into a bloodstain on the floor... so like, there really is nothing she could've done to stop him from being revived as an undead.

Imagine being a QA tester, seeing this happening in your game and be like "bruh, I think this game is bugged. WAIT THIS IS A GAME RATED FOR ALL AGES! ARE THEY GONNA ELEVATE IT TO MATURE!?" The panic on their face would be priceless.

Well, there is intrigue. Not enough info to jump to conclusions... though, this happening does amplify how she is in a game, not an alternative reality.

I guess if there is something that happened in the 6 year time skip that should've been portrayed more clearly... is just how numb she became for spending so long in her position. 2 years while she's at max level, where nothing was a threat to her... any situation that lasts long enough becomes your new normal.

So, the thing is... the plot established thus far is kinda spiraling in on itself. Ms. Main Character is pretty stupid but that's not the problem. The problem is that where do we go from here? This is a completed work and it ends at chapter 100, so where are we going from here?

I gotta say, she is slower than all other villainesses so far. 6 years and you've VASTLY changed the world to a drastic degree that it is unrecognizable... and you're still trying to hold onto the original plot? Lady... lady... plz...

The person in Blanche is just a normal person. Sure, she's driven to extremes to survive but... she is just a normal person. There's a limit and well, she is well over it but there is one reason why we can accept that -> to her, this world is just a game. She doesn't really see these people as real living human beings, so she can dispose of them without worrying about it... Even then, there is a limit, again.

Poor kid.

Also, she makes no sense. We know why she's acting like this since we can see her train of thought. No one else does so the way she's acting makes zero sense. She obviously has a soft spot for him, tolerates him far beyond what anyone else would get away with, etc -> and then she does this.

Little hostage warmed up to the situation.
